Welcome to 2021!

It took a minute for me to gather my thoughts for this blog, as I was trying to think about what I wanted to brain dump about! So, I figured that I would explore this idea that I had in December. First, let me re-introduce myself! I have always loved fashion, delicious foods, and traveling, so I created Mo's Revue to share my experiences (with revues), to learn, and inspire others through my journey! I am a mom of two, wife of one (LOL) and blogger in between. I earned a BA in Fashion Merchandising and worked as a Visual Merchandise Manager for a few years before changing to a career in higher education administration. A career in higher education definitely has its rewards but I still longed for a creative outlet, so that’s why I created Mo’s Revue!

Now back to what this blog post is about!

Being a blogger, whether by a self-appointed title, falling into it naturally or one who is sought out, either way it involves passion, creativity, and the ability to share with others (who are willing to listen). In December, I had this idea to share a list of my top HER-fluencers -which is a bad ass boss who creates, advocates, and offers a seat at the table, (I just made that up but it’s true).

Needless to say, I never got around to writing my post in December. Let’s face it, blogging and sharing content is a full-time job and having a full-time career, being a mom and wife does not leave much time for my creative energy to flow freely.

The good thing about social media, is that it allows us to recreate ourselves, tap into our potential and connect with people across the world. There are several bloggers and for the sake of this blog post, HER-fluencers (local and across the world) who share different ideas, fashions concepts, lifestyles and parts of their everyday lives, that feed our souls. We look forward to their stories, posts, and content, to breakup our day, make us laugh and take us to another part of the world, where we can let our imaginations flow.

So, with all that being said, here are my top bloggers, HER-fluencers or just overall bosses who are HER-fluencing me and others every day, by sharing their lives and giving us reasons to smile!

5: @dea.myers is a HER-fluencer and my cousin (XOXO), who is a leader, fitness coach, lifestyle believer and a remarkable person, who brings love and light to all of us each day.

4: @Alluredbydesign is a HER-fluencer, NOLA home and garden designer, my XUP alum, a fashionista, whose makeup is always on point, the lady of BLUE and GOLD décor and someone who can tell you a story and keep you engaged the whole time, like you were there all through a post or video!

1: @rubyvolu is a HER-fluencer, fashionista, designer, my BFF for over 20 years, fellow LSU alum, BAD ASS FASHION industry executive and just has an overall love of life, moments, people, and family.
