Recently, I embarked on a short journey to Paris, where I had always envisioned "Paris in Springtime" as the epitome of romance. However, the weather forecast predicted rain. Yet, for me, Paris is a timeless destination, regardless of the season. Last summer, during our Beyonce' Renaissance Tour!.. we had the privilege of staying at the illustrious Carlton Cannes in the South of France which is a distinguished member of the IHG hotel group. Needless to say, the Carlton Hotel left an indelible mark on my memory. Therefore, it felt only fitting to opt for another IHG property, this time at the InterContinental Hotel in Paris.
Nestled along the Champs-Élysées, the InterContinental Hotel exudes charm and warmth, complemented by its contemporary decor. It provided the perfect backdrop for a brief escapade in Paris.

Paris has always held a special place in my heart, even before I fully realized it. Being situated on the Champs-Élysées afforded me easy access to the boutiques along Avenue Montaigne. This time around, I indulged in leisurely strolls, immersing myself in the city's architecture and vibrant atmosphere. A highlight was savoring a latte at the Dior Café, basking in the picturesque scenery and engaging in some people-watching.
Whether it's the cuisine, the culture, or the sheer magnificence of the city, each visit to France feels like a unique experience. Whether along the coast or amidst the bustling streets of Paris, there's an inherent essence of France and French culture that resonates deeply with me. Perhaps it's the significance behind my name, Monique, or my connection to New Orleans and its rich French heritage ingrained in my DNA. Whatever the reason, France is undeniably a part of me, and Paris, in particular, holds my heart captive. Each exploration of the city feels fresh and remarkable, reigniting my love for this captivating destination.
With love from Paris!
