August is a nice break from the thick of July, although it’s still HOT here in NOLA (New Orleans, LA)! BUT August is my birthday month, so that makes it even better. August represents so many things, the end of summer and transitioning into fall “YALL”! In NOLA, we have for what seems like a longer summer than most, as it doesn’t usually cool down until November, (yeah). I love mixing and matching summer outfits and stocking up on some cute pieces for next summer, but it’s also a wonderful time to prepare and plan for a new season, wardrobe and new adventures. The best places I like to visit (either online or in store) to start enhancing my fall looks are Nordstrom, Rue 107, Marshalls and Torrid.
